DELCOF S.A. (Greece) is the beneciary organization of the 3-year program “Peach the Great America”. DELCOF S.A. is the cluster of the fruit processing industry of Greece. Its shareholders include the Greek Canners’ Association (representing 16 fruit processing companies), as well as, a number of cooperatives and privately held companies active in the fruit processing industry in Greece. The organization was established in 1999, as an innovative quality laboratory, providing the sector with state-of-the-art guidance in every part of the production flow, from the farm to the final products.

In 2007, the Network of Greek Fruit Canneries decided to take advantage of its forward momentum and focused on the creation of a strong extrovert industry “armed” to lead the way to entering new markets and increase the competitiveness of the sector. Ever since then, DELCOF S.A. holds a prominent role, by dominating the field of canned peaches globally and by keeping the lead in Greece’s EU’s agricultural product exports.

DELCOF S.A. has implemented a series of promotional activities, research programs and initiatives at national, European and international level, and continues its innovative work. DELCOF’s personnel are committed to ensuring superior peach quality and product’s food safety, by highlighting each step of the production process, from the farm to the final, sealed and canned product.
